Riding & Hiking at Twin Valley Horse Ranch
Ride(BYO Horse)/Hike miles of exciting wooded trails with spectacular views and mountain adventure! Intimate Horsemanship clinics(TVR horse) are fun for all experience levels. Learn about native wildlife, history and lore, ride/hike a wide variety of terrain and trails.



Long pants and sturdy footwear required. Helmets suggested and available. Liability release form required. Clinics & Hikes rain or shine. 215 lb weight limit. $40 cancellation/change fee. 50% Deposit required, non-refundable without 2 weeks notice.

Advanced Reservations Required​


Mini Horse Orientation Class (no riding) 1 hour
Perfect for families with kids (all ages) and adults who want to learn basic safety, haltering, leading, grooming and just get to love on the little horses!
$85.00 for groups up to 4 people
$10.00 for each additional person 3 yrs and up

Mini Horse Orientation Class with Lead Line Ride for Children 1.5-2 hrs
$135.00 for groups up to 4 people and ONE child riding
$25.00 for each additional child who wants to ride


Horsemanship Clinic (unmounted) 2 hours
Perfect for those who want a more in depth experience with the horses. You will learn Safety, how to approach horses, haltering, leading, grooming, horse care,reading their body language, How to "horse speak", the psychology of horses and how to earn your horses respect. Taking them thru the obstacle course will build your horse handling skills, confidence and help you to learn how to be more connected with your horse and to be more partners with them.
This clinic is not suitable for little kids. Age depends on maturity, attention span, and Interest/horse experience. There is a lot to cover in a short amount of time!
$125.00 per person

Horsemanship Clinic with Mounted Lead Line Riding Lesson 2.5-3 hours depending on # of people.
This clinic covers all that is included in the Horsemanship Clinic but you will also have a riding lesson with focus being on proper equitation, balance, confidence and becoming more partners with your horse. Our body is ALWAYS talking to your horse and half the time we don't even realize what we are saying to them! This experience will help you to be more aware of how your physical body makes a difference! Our goal as riders is to be as one as possible with our horses and to work with him rather than against them.
$175.00 per person Riders must be under 215 pounds and not pregnant. 

Miniature Horse Guided Nature Hike - 2 hrs
All ages! Enjoy and learn about the native trees, wildflowers, history / stories of the area all while hanging out with Bitzie and Sassy our adorable mini horses.
Before hike starts you will receive instruction on horse safety and care of the mini horses. Guide will be right with you to assist in handling your horses while exploring the beautiful mountain trails of Twin Valley Ranch.

Guided Mountain Trail Ride with your OWN HORSE 2 hrs
$50.00 per person


Farm Day up to 4 hours
Escape for a few hours and enjoy the ranch and farm animals.
Meet/Greet/Feed the horses and variety of petting animals (chickens, ducks, pig, kittys,
donkey, mule, mini horses, fainting goats, rabbits....)with guide.
Bring a picnic or campfire fixins to enjoy at our spring fed pond complete with pavilion, tables, chairs, fire ring/grill
Swim/fish, hike our miles of trails, enjoy the view at our outdoor chapel ....Get back to nature, animals and each other.
$85.00 up to 4 people
$10.00 each additional person

After completing any of these clinics, you will be qualified to take the mini horses out for walks to outdoor chapel/onion head, grooming or taking them thru obstacle course anytime they are not booked for a class. Children must have parent, who completed class, with them. Proper foot wear is required anytime you are near or handling horses.
